Stephanie Crutchfield

“Remember when I dropped my sunglasses into Lake Travis and refused to leave until I recovered them?  First, I swam to a boat half a mile away to borrow goggles, then swam back to where I had lost my shades.  I dove to the bottom of the lake FOUR times and I finally FOUND them.  You know what I did after that? I swam BACK to that boat and returned the goggles.”

Aside from exemplifying her excellent swimming capabilities, this story pretty much sums up Stephanie.  When she says she’s going to do it, she’s going to do it;  and it won’t be done halfway.  One way or another, she’s getting the sunglasses AND returning the goggles.

Born in Austin, Stephanie grew up in southern California before returning to Texas 15 years ago.  Following in the footsteps of her parents, she attended The University of Texas at Austin focusing on Early Italian Renaissance art and Classical Architecture.  A passion for school and all things beautiful led her to Italy, where she lived and studied abroad, earning a BA in Fine Arts, Art History.  Upon returning to Texas, she married and settled in east Austin; a neighborhood where she and her husband co-own 2 iconic downtown Austin live music venues.

Before transitioning into real estate, Stephanie focused her attention on operating and managing the local family businesses.  Focusing on corporate and private event planning, live music booking, and yearly SXSW events has connected Stephanie into the fabric of the Austin community on both a personal and professional level.

When asked what Stephanie loves most about being a Realtor, she says “it enables me to stay connected to what is so special about Austin and share that experience with each of my clients.’
